Revisiting Kim So Wol's Poem "Mountain Flower"

A few months ago I attempted to translate 산유화(山有花) by Korean poet 김소월. Now that I look back at my French translation, I made so many mistakes! I want to facepalm myself right now and scream "THIS IS SO BAD!" but I won't, because I'm in a room full of strangers. On the bright side, I learned something new! I guess that's the thing about translations -- you always make mistakes, you always discover ways to improve old translations, and you always learn.

Thus, I'm going to try to write a new translation for this poem. I'll most likely try to revisit this a few months later just to see whether I want to change anything else.

Il y a des fleurs fleurissant dans la montagne

Les fleurs qui s’épanouissent

En automne, au printemps, ou en été; il n’y a aucune différence

Les fleurs s’épanouissent

Dans la montagne
